IT Band Stretch

Got a huge stretch for the IT band here. It's specifically going to be stretching out the TFL muscle on the side of the hip, which connects into the IT band. So you're going to start with your arms out to your side. The leg is going straight up. Use a lightweight or no weight at all from here. You're going to slowly lower that weight down to your side, trying to keep it at the height of your hip.

Take a couple of deep breaths. You can let that leg lax if you need to, or for more intensity, hold it off the ground and then slowly lift it back up to the starting position and repeat. Do this slowly, a few repetitions, uh, it's best to do this after you're already warmed up. You've done maybe your workout already and you're just doing this as a cool down.
